As always ... read a lot, try to find maps so that you get a grip on HOW the place looks
I like to know where I am - so that I now when I get there ....

The trip,  going there was not that nice, Novair gave us an aeroplane without running water, without Video, without .... well you get the idea, hah?

We met up with the people from lanta Divers at the airport and they got us all the way to Koh Lanta

The scuba part was nice, all dives above 29 degrees Celsius made me happy
Bad was that you got as low as 5 meters of sight on some places .... 

The boat, Lanta Divers, MOST EXCELLENT SERVICE !!! Ive done some traveling, this was the best so far! 
They had some problems with the boat but we got what we had paid for and they managed their problems almost without us noticing. When you entered the deck after a dive they served you as you sat down without delay. 

Aquarius boat on the other hand, we were lucky to get Claudia. The female DM's mad a good impression but they stressed us a little before the first dive. A good rule is a 15 minute warning. Not a five minute ....

The stay at Koh Lanta - Relaxed in a very positive way !

Koh Lanta is far from Phuket which by the way is about like south of Spain .... they speak to you in your language.
I was really happy that we lived at Koh Lanta and not in Phuket!

Food, tasteful almost all the time, the seafood is excellent but my favorite was he noodle soup.

Drinking, Carlsberg was the best carbonated water - and without bubbles Minéré
and of course they had Coca Cola.
